2000 Professional supports many different printer models
for different manufacturers. For a specific printer
manufacturer and model, select one of the following:
Canon, Epson,
OKI, HP,
NEC
Which
computers and operating systems are compatible with PowerRIP
2000?
Any PowerMac, G3, Blue/White G3, G4, iMac and iBook.
PowerRIP 2000 is compatible with system 8.6 and
greater
including OS X (Classic) OS X Native release
date has been temporarily delayed.
On the PC platform we operate with Windows
98/95/NT4.0/2000/ME/XP.

When
I purchase PowerRIP 2000, what will I receive?
You
will receive a CD, a printed Quick Start guide, an electronic
manual, a registration card and a Product ID number
for
your version of software.
What
is PostScript and why do I need a PostScript RIP?
PostScript
is a programming language optimized for printing graphics
and text. A
PostScript RIP (Raster Image
Processor) converts the output
from your application into an image allowing you to utilize
a non PostScript printer for
high quality color and sharp,
legible type.
I
have several
Macs and several printers, how many copies of PowerRIP
2000 do I need to purchase?
One!
PowerRIP 2000 Professional is network ready. You
can connect your Macs via Ethernet and print out to
any
supported printer via the chooser.
Is
PowerRIP 2000 user friendly?
Yes
it is. We designed the options so they are intuitive.
So if you do not have time to read the manual, you can
still
use PowerRIP 2000.
What
is your return policy for software?
We
offer a FREE download of PowerRIP 2000 for users to try
our software before purchasing. If the software is
purchased, there is no return policy for opened
software unless a problem occurs and can not be
corrected by iProof
Systems within acceptable time. An RMA (Return
Merchandise Authorization) must be obtained from iProof
Systems'
Technical Support Department enabling you to
return the software for a refund. Complete package must
be returned
including all validations. If you purchase
PowerRIP 2000 from any of our resellers, please check
with their return policy
on software.
Will
PowerRIP 2000 increase my printer speed?
PowerRIP
2000 will process your data and send it to your printer.
The printer then runs at full print speed providing you
have sufficient hardware. Many factors contribute to
printing speed including the speed of your computer, amount
of
RAM in your computer, connection type and complexity
of your file. USB is faster than serial.
Is
there a Demo version?
PowerRIP
2000 is available in a demo version for you to try first
hand. The
demo version is fully functional
except it
will print the word "DEMO"
